DISCOVERY BY MOTHER.

A distressing faf-ality occurred at Roslyn this morning wlien Patricia Valerie McDonald, aged three years, accidently strangled herself with a window cord.
Tho child, who was the daughter of Mr. Frederick John McDonald, of Chapman Street, was put in a single bed by her mother at .10.15 for her morning sleep. When tho mother went back to get her up for lunch about two hours later sho found the child hanging with her head through a loop in a window cord and her toes about 4in. off the floor. Dr. Strain was called in, but life was extinct.
