SEVERE HEAD INJURY.
BLOW FROM WINCH HANDLE.

Through being accidentally struck on the head by a winch handle at his work this afternoon, Mr. James Fitzpatrick, railway employee, married, aged 54 years, received a compound fracture of the skull and laceration of the face. His condition l'oforo ho underwent an operation this evening was reported <o be serious.
