TO PRESERVE FRENCH BEANS.
Tlava young beans and place them in a vcod»n receptacle in layers 3in. deep with a th-ki layer of salt between. Cover with a/ plate or cover of wood and put a heavy weight on it. When wanted for use soak the beans in cold water for a few hours and then cook as usual.
