INCIDENT IN SCOTT'S CAMP

NEW YORK. Feb. 20. Telegrams from Miami say it is not generallv revealed, but it is understood that in yesterday's sparring Phil Scott received a blow from Jack Renault, his partner, which put him down for the count. There were few spectators present, although it is understood that a photographer snapped a picture of the occurrence.
Scott's manager explained that Scott had slipped and received the impact ot a missed lead. He dismissed the incident, as of no importance, although boxing circles here express much surprise.
PROFESSIONAL BILLIARDS.
LINDRUM LEADS McCONACHY. LONDON. Feb.. 20. In his billiards match Lindrum has scored 19.107. including breaks of 514 and 1023. McConachy, in play, has scored 16.660, including breaks of 1017, 2SI and 257. Willie Smith has scored against, Newman 13.377, including breaks_ of 519 and 672. Newman has made 13, / oQ, including breaks of 450 , 505 and 629. NEW SWIMMING RECORD. FEAT BY DUTCH GIRL. LONDON, Feb. 2<i A Dutch swimmer. Miss Braun. established a world's record for the women's 400 metres free style. The tune was sm. 46.55.
The prior record was held by Miss Martha Norelius, of New York, whose time was sm. 49 o-55., done on June 50, 1928, at Rockaway, New York State.
