Bishop F. M. Molyneux, Bishowof Melanesia, left for Sydney by the Ulimaroa yesterday on his way to attend the Lambeth Conference in England.
Dj.\ Raymond Firth, of Auckland, who has been appointed lecturer in anthropology at Sydney University, left for Sydney by tho Ulimaroa yesterday.
Mr. H. von Weyrauch, of Java, Mr. R. Ricketts, of Fiji, Dr. P. J. Monaghan, of Wellington, and Mr. H. Longguth, of Rotorua, are at the Royal Hotel.
Mr. and Mrs. L. T. Watkins, of Wellington, Mr. and Mrs. B- Allen, of Hamilton, and Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Magson, of Rakaia, are at the Central Hotel.
Mr. A. P. Roberts, of New York, Mr. D. Manson and Mr. K. J. Ainslie, of Christchurch, and Mr. F. T. Reynolds, of Whangarei, are at the Hotel Cargen.
Mr. H. Muller, New Zealand manager for J. C. Williamson, Limited, arrived from Wellington yesterday. Ho will return to Wellington by train to-morrow evening. _
Mr. C. Waterhouse, who for a number of years has been organiser of the South Auckland branch of the New Zealand Alliance, is relinquishing his position on account of ill-health.
