Tho butter-fat received at tho Pangi

taiki Plains Dairy Company's factory last month totalled 550,6201b., compared with 446,9221b. for January of last year. The output of butler was 296 tons 6c\vt., against 246 tons 19c\vt. for the corresponding month of last year. The total mako for tho season to date is 1476 tons, compared with 1394 tons for tho first seven months of last season.

Tho payment to suppliers for January was £34,229, against £32.802 for January of last year, while" the total payout for tho season so far amounts to £181,027, compared with £156,024 [or the corresponding period of last season. The increase in the butter made this season to da to is slightly over 14 per cent. Tho quality remains high, the grades for tho four shipments made in January being 94, 94, 94 ami 94£ respectively.

Tho Ruawai Co-operative Dairy Company paid to suppliers yesterday a total sum of £13,982 lis 7d, for butter-fat supplied in January, tho rate of payment being Is 3d per lb. finest grade. Tho amount distributed was an increase of over £llOO over tho amount paid for the January supply last year when, at tho rate of Is 4d por lb., £12,823 19s 7d was paid out by tho company. Tho payment yesterday raised tho total amount paid to suppliers this season to £70,359 4s 7d, against £63,357 14s 5d for tho corresponding period of last season.
