Cook came on to win easily by two lengths from Leistu'e, 7 who boat Lordlike by a length. Spearform was a head away fourth and Ao 'Marama and Acrospire next. In the Hoprlands High-weight Handicap Air Laddie was a very hot favourite, with pood backing for Goldlike and Royal Acre. Hawkshsw was two lengths away third, with Tar Baby fourth and Benign and Star of Gold next. The winner is the first of Nigger Minstrel's progeny to win. She is a shapely and smart filly. Had Appledore bad a clear ran on the rails he might, nave beaten her, but this is not certain. Limosin soon went to the front from the outside, and, with Paiko. showed the way past the half-mile and to the turn, from Mancy, Right Bower. Brown Sugar and Spearful. Limosin came away in the straight to win easily by half a length from Mandy, who beat Paiko by ihreeqtiarfers of a length. St. Melba was fourth, and then cams Spearful and Abbey Queen, with 3elle Star heading the rest. Limosin won his third race inside a week just as easily as his first.
