The Wellington Trotting Club's meeting was held at Hutt Park to-day. The early races were run in fine weather and on a fast track, but heavy rain fell later and made the going very heavy. Fine racing was witnessed by a good attendance. The totalisator handled.- £22,740 30s, compared with £2G,496 for the corresponding day last year, a-decrease of £3755 10s. Results were:—
