MONEY FOR BUTTER-FAT.

FIGURES SHOW 'INCREASE.

The butter output of the Te Awamutu Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited, for January , amounted to 141 tons, compared with 103 tons for the same month last year, an increase of 37 per cent. For the eight months of the season to date the output is 705 tons, compared with 558 tons last year.
On February 20 the, company will make a cash advance of Is 3d per lb. butter-fat for finest quality cream supplied last month, shareholders being credited with an additional £d per lb. The amount of the payment is £15,939, compared with £13,409 for the same month last year, when the rate of advano» was Is 5d per lb. The total cash payment for the season to date is £87,895, against £73,386 last year.
