INAUGURATION TO-MORROW, Everything continues to point most promisingly for the Taranaki Jockoy Club's Autumn Meeting, to be inaugurated tomorrow, prpving ft complete bucccbs in tho ovent of fine weather, and the fact of Auaklaud atublea being well represented will servo to invest tho racing with special local interest. Tho fifteen horses paid up for in connection with tho Turanaki Cup hold their places, and it is- somewhat difficult to indicate how the favourite division, will be ranged up on tho day. Auokland»owned Pcgaway (0.8), who heads tho list, has oarned his impost and ho is expected to play a part in the settlement of the question. Corinax (8.4) has received his fullest deserts, but ho iB a game little fellow, and as his bid for victory in tho Takapuna Cup furnished evidence of good condition ho can bo depended upon to run a good race at New Plymouth.

WIN AT CANNING PARK.

(Received February 4, 10.25 p.m.) SYDNEY, Feb. i. Agrion, a former New Zealand Derby winner, now in Western Australia, won tlio Trial Stakes (£80) at tho Canning Park meeting on Saturday. The victory of Agrion was made possible by the following conditions:—"For all horses that have not won or received a stake for a flat race of a net value of £SO since September 1, 1929." - Agrion-carried 10.0. and ran the seven furlongs in 1.20 1-5. ,
