ENGLISH CRICKETERS.

VISIT BY AUSTRALIANS.

WARNER'S SUGGESTED TEAM.

(Received February 3, 7.15 p.m.) • LONDON. Feb. 3

Mr. P. F. Warner, writing in the Morning Post, says he is impressed by the youth of the members of the Australian cricket team to tour England. He selects an English side to oppose them.

Mr. Warner's selection is: Allen, Mitchell, Hammond, Larwood, Ames, Duleepsinjhi, Robins, Killick,' Peebles, Crawley and Voce. The average ago of this team is 23.

This young England team has not four batsmen equal to Ponsford, Kippax, Bradman and Jackson, says Mr. Warner. It will be admitted that Hammond is the greatest batsman of either side, and that Duleepsinjln can bp compared with Jackson and Bradman. England's bowling, with Voce, Robins and Peebles, would definitely bo stronger than that of Australia.
