For the first time in 30 , years the | weather was wet in the morning for tho , annual show of the Northern Wairoa < Agricultural and Pastoral, Association, but 1 shortly before noon rain ceased and- the 1 weather was fine for the rest of the day. The wet morning, however, affected the attendance which was not up to previous j years. The exhibits' showed an increase and quality was of a high standard. The inside exhibits, especially produce, flowers and industrial sections, were particularly- ' good. Horses and beef cattle -were also good, entries being larger than usual and competition was keen.
