Sir, —Since the advent of the aeroplane such new words as deplane and enplane have been added to the dictionary, then why not give the apparatus or paraphenalia of tone pictures a similar appropriate name, such as " the Converseaphone." It certainly smacks of a scientific instrument, but then it could be abbreviated to the " Converseies." Oval.
