WAITEMATA CLUB CARNI VAL% V ■ ■ ' ' ' The TVaitemata Amateur Swimming: Club will hold a carnival at the Tepid Baths to-, morrow evening. A feature of the programme will be an attempt by D. P. Lindsay to lower the half-mile record cf lira 21 2-ss, recently established by G. Bridson. The inter-club championship relay race of 200 yds has drawn an entry of eight teams, every city. club beinu represented. Several handicap events, fox men, and .ladies should provide keen competition, and an enjoyable evening's sport is assured.
