MARATHON GOLF.
SEVEN ROUNDS IN A DAY. Claiming to be an Australian record, W. R. Morgan and lan McLachlan played a Marathon game of golf at Sea toil, South Australia, recently. Starting at 4.50 in the morning, they continued until 5.50 p.m., completing seven rounds. The figures returned were:—Morgan: 85, 87, 89, 90, 94, 37, 92, total 624. McLachlan: 89, 81, 85, 91, 83, 88, 84, total 601. The courso is 6245 yards, and tho longest time of any round was 1 hour 40 minutes. McLachlan finished strongly over the last four holes in 4. 3„ 4., 4. to hose,y 0f"5./ 3, 5, 5.
