Unusual circumstances surround the discovery last evening of a man lying unconscious on the pavement in the Square. Shortly after nine o'clock constables on the beat were called to the man's assis-, tance. Ha was obviously seriously ill and he was removed to the police station. A doctor was summoned and the man was taken to hospital.
