BRIDGE PARTIES.
.Yesterday a very successful bridge afternoon and evening were held at -the [Victoria League rooms which had been Tezy .effectively arranged for the occasion ,*vith bowls and stands of summer flowers. •The hostesses for both afternoon and evening were Mrs. W. Johnston, Mrs. Donald Ogilv'ie, Mrs. F. S. Moorhouse arid Mrs. V. Usher. About 18 tables were in uSe in the afternoon, and among tne players Miss Mowbray, president of the league, Mrs. Arthur Wakeman, Mrs. Iveals , Smith, Mrs. W. McGarry, MrsrATudehopii, Mrs. J.
