THE TAMAKI CLUB.

PROGRAMME OF THE EVENTS,

Races for small classes and outboard motor-boats will be hold by the Tamaki Yacht Club this afternoon. The courses for the various events will be laid off Kohimarama, and an excellent view of the racing will Ue obtained from tho Kohimarama Wharf and the waterfront roadway. The programme includes three races for outboard motor-boats, which will be under the control of tho outboard division of the New Zealand Power-Boat Association.

The entries and handicaps are as follows: V and S Class.—To 'start at 2.40. Course from starting line, between starter's launch and end of Kohimarama Wharf, thence round Bastion light beacon on starboard, thence north side of Bean Rock light, thence round mark off St. Heliers Wharf on starboard, twice round; finishing off Kohimarama Wharf. Starter's launch only a mark at start and finish. Wild Wave, scr; Namu, 3m; Sceptre, 6m; Scud, Rangatira, 8m; Cyclone, Maranui, 10m.

Star Class. —To start at 2.50, course same as that for V class. Maid Marion and June, scr.

T, X and Y Classes. —To start together at 3, course same as that for V class. T class: Rainona, scr; Mjaric, 2m; Resolute, 4m; Tui, Rita 11., 6m. Y Class. —Lois, Opha, scr; Rahiri 11., 4m; Romp, 6m; Valencia, Maraetai, 11m. Z Class.—To start at 3.10, course same as. that for V class, once round. Delphine, scr; Oi, Joker, 2m; Kitty, 3m; Mo Too, Tio. sm; Trevic, 7m. M Class.—Start off King's Wharf on completion of Royal New Zealand lacht Squadron's race for M class, finishing at Kohimarama Wharf, between wharf and starter's launch. Manens, Monu, Maratea, Mawhity Maroro. Matarerc. Outboards, lip to 30 cubic inches. —1o start at 3.20, course from starting line off Kohimarama Wharf round mark off St. Heliers Bay Wharf on starboard, back round starter's launch on starboard, twice round; four nautical miles. A race for outboards over 30 cubic inch class, starting at 3.30, and a combined handicap starting about 3.45 will also be held on the same course for these events. Post entries will, be received. Already, Miss Marquette, ' Ocean Mule, Baby Olds, Humbug, Miss J Arawa, Lady Gay, Nymph and Nymph, jun., have entered. The officers for the day are Starter ! and timekeeper, Mr. W. A. Wilkinson; judge, Mr. R. Wild; in charge of outboards, Mr. R. Mouatt; handicapper, Mr. C. R. Wilson.

TAKAPUNA BOATING CLUB.

RACE TO MATIATIA

The Takapuna Boating Club will hold a cruising race to Matiatia this afternoon for centre-board classes. The race will start off Stanley Point at 2.30, the course beifig round Rangitoto and Motutapu, thence round Motuihi, on port, finishing at Matiatia between launch and Northern Point. No fairway marks need be observed. The entries are Starlight, Starloch, Rakoa, Omatere and Glaclys. The handicaps will be declared this morning. Mr. F. Fortzer will be starter and judge, and Mr. E. Denham timekeeper.
