There was a large attendance at the Majestic Theatre to-night to see Tommy Donovan, of Waitara, make his first South Island appearance against Hector Leckie, the Dunedin light-weight champion. Donovan entered the ring at ost. Ojlb. and Leckie at 9st. 2j!b. Donovan won the first and second rounds and Leckie the third and fourth. Donovan increased his aggressiveness in the "fifth and knocked Leckie out.
