ONEHUNGA SCHOOL.
GROUND IMPROVEMENT FUND
A meeting to discuss ways and means of raising funds to carry out a comprehensive scheme for improvements to the Onehunga public school grounds, was discussed at a meeting in tho Orphans' Hall this week, the Mayor, Mr. E„ Morton, presiding. Full details were described by Mr. J. Park, architect,, and the meeting decided to aim at raising £IOOO. The Onehunga Citizens' Band promised active assistance, and it 'was arranged that it should receive 20 per cent, of the proceeds from its performances. A committee, including members of the Borough Council, the School Committee and the band, was appointed to raise the funds.
