SATISFACTORY CONFERENCE.
RESUMPTION OF WORK EXPECTED [by telegbArH. —own conbespondent.] HUNTLY, Friday. A conference between the directors of Waipa Collieries, Limited, and the members of the district miners' council of tho northern coalfields was held at Huntly to-day, to consider tho events which led up to tho strike. After discussing the matter for several hours; it was practically agreed that work would be resumed at Glen Massey on Monday.
