HOSPITAL BOARD ELECTION.
Sir,—When reporting the result of the ballot taken between tho members of the local bodies in the Franklin County to fill the vacancy on the Auckland Hospital Board, and giving the result, Mr. Parvin 17, Mr. Garland 13, and Mr. A. HTapper 1, your reporter should advised that, by permission of the Tuakau Town Board, my nomination was withdrawn before the ballot was taken, but too late to have my name removed from the ballot paper. The one vote cast for me was evidently done in error. A. H. Tapper.
