BLOOD TRANSFUSION.
Sir —I have read with interest your article in Thursday's Herald/ We have known Mr. C. R. Christy for some years. Because of his infirmity he is dependent on his chair, which has been unsafe for seme time. A new chair which he could propel himself would cost £75. But ne is destitute and alone. If an organisation of young people would arrange a series of entertainments, we would willingly co-operate with them. His call to the hospital for "blood transfusion has given him a new interest in life. He ?s no longer safe in his present chair. As he has lost both legs we are anxious about his future, if a chair is not iortncoming. > Sister Esther.
