Tambourine and Noil ran four furlongs in s'i 2-ss, and Clartis strode along steadily over six furlongs without looking for time. Corinax was indulged in a useful working gallop over a round, running the laßt soven furlongs in 1.35 1-5. Traetor went six furlongs in 1.20 2-5, and Eager Hose ran five furlongs in 1.5. Cynthia N. encompassed a round at about threequarter pace. Tetrarchato sprinted five furlongs in 1.3 2-5, running tho last four in 50 2-ss. A deputation from the Auckland Country Racing Clubs Association. in connection with the association's suggestion that some echemo be, evolved whereby the various district committees should have more effective control of racing in their respective districts, wailed on the committee, and it was decided lo reply to flic association, After having heard the views expressed by members of the deputation: "That, in the opinion of the committee, the Auckland Provincial Country Racing Clubs Association should endeavour to arrange a meeting between the Auckland representatives, provincial and metropolitan, on the New Zealand Racing Conference, to meet representatives from tho association to discuss the position in regard to their endeavours to have an alteration made in the powers of tho district committees."
