INDIAN AIR ROUTES.
KARACHI TO CALCUTTA. DIFFICULTIES ENCOUNTERED. (Received November 1, 6.15 p.m.) British Wireless. RUGBY, Oct. 31. The Secretary of State for India, Mr. Wedgwood Benn, said in the House of Commons that the Government of India had found it more difficult than it anticipated to inaugurate air services from Karachi to Delhi and Calcutta, but it was still hoped that the first flight from Karachi to Delhi would be made this year.
