SIX SEAMEN DROWNED.
COLLISION IN DENSE FOG.

Six members of the crew of the ore carrier Senator were drowned when she collided with the steamer Marquette in the middle of the morning in a dense fog. The Senator was an old-time iron ship. She filled immediately .and sank in 10 minutes. The master, Captain Finch, was rescued. The crew of the Marquette rescued three men and a passing schooner saved ni:ae others. WRECKS ON GREAT LAKES. HEAVY CASUALTY LIST. (Received November 1. 9.45 p.m.) CHICAGO. Nov. 1. The total number of lives lost in the wrecks caused by the recent storms on the Great Lakes is 115.
