FEATHER CAKES.
One cupful of sugar, one cupful froundjag) of flour, half a cupful of milk, two tablespoonsful (rounding) of butter, two teaspoonsfui of baking powder, two eggs. Use two egg yolks and one egg white for the cake batter and the other egg white for the icing. Cream tiie butler and and stir in the beaten egg yolks. Add the milk and Sour alternately, folding in the egg white last. Bake in catty tins, and when cold ice with white icing.. These are very good with chopped rut 3 sprinkled over the top.
