BRIDGE AFTERNOON.
' A' bridge afternoon organised • by six members of the committee of St. James' Free Kindergarten in aid of the kindergarten funds was held at the Moulin Rouge, Renniera, . yesterday. The lounge where the tables were arranged was decorated with Iceland poppies, while bowls of mauve and pink stock made a .delicate effect pf colour against the panelled walls. The'committee-comprised Mrs. Tiarks", Mrs. Whitley, Mrs. Walk ley, Mrs. Moorhouse, Mrs. Stanton and Mrs. Airey. The helpers who served afternoon tea and sold sweets were Miss Marjorie Tiavks, Miss Betty. Jackson. Miss 1. Lawson, Miss Winsome Airey, and Miss. I'. Robertson.
