ANCIENT MOTOR-CARS.
LONDON-BRIGHTON RACE. THIRTY-ONE FINISH COURSE. (Received October 21, 7.5 p.m.) United Service. LONDON, Oct. 21. Thirty-one out of 35 motor-cars completed the courso from London to Brighton in an " old crocks' " raco. They reached the goal in various stages of external decrepitude, but with their engines chugging bravely. The winning car on points was a 32-ycar-old Benz. A 27-year-old Panhard was second. A 28-year-old Lanchester, travelling at a rate of 30 miles an hour, finished first. The oldest car in the race was an 1893 Panhard.
