BRISBANE, Oct. 18. A Queensland pastoralist, Mr. James Clark, wrote to the Prime, Minister of South Africa, General Hert/.og, regarding wool marketing, stressing the need for a wool trust, embracing Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Argentina. '

Mr. Clark said it was ridiculous that they should put tho product, of which they had a monoply, into tho market, in such a manner that thoy had to tako what the combined buyers chose to give. The South African Minister of Agriculture, General J. G. Kemp, has now replied, saying that in his opinion tho most effective method whereby tho producer could secure a voice in the disposal oi Jjis products was by co-operation.
