IRISH FREE STATE.
CONSTITUTION CONFERENCE.
KNOTTY PROBLEMS RAISED.
Australian and N.Z. Press Association. (Received October 13, 11.5 p.ru.) LONDON, Oct. 13. There are hints that the representatives of the Irish Free State already have raised embarrassing problems at tho Imperial Constitutional Conference, especially in relation to tho Royal assent to Dominion bills.
Although this right is hardly likely to bo exercised nowadays apparently there is a majority disinclined to removo the safeguard. It is understood that the discussion reached such a delicate stage that Mr. Patrick MeGilligan, Irish Minister of External Affairs, returned to Dublin to consult his Cabinet.
Also it is suggested that Ireland r« vived her 1926 claim for a separate mer cantile marine flag.
