THIEF BREAKS A WINDOW*
WRISTLET WATCHES STOLEN.

TE PUKE, Sunday
Jewellery and trinkets, consisting chiefly of wristlet watches, and valued at £2O, were stolen from the premises of Mr. George Sweetman, jeweller, of Te Puke, on Friday night. The plate-glass window was broken and the goods were taken from the window shelves. Tho robbery was a daring one and gave evii dence of hurried work by the thief.
