I'ink Noto and Celerity IT. in tho Ranfurly Handicap. Night Lad and Money Mine led Narrative and Taboo for threo furlongs, when Evening joined Narrative in second . ploce. They ran without change to tho straight. Celerity 11. was lust up to this point, hut she put in a brilliant run which landed her in front over a hundred yards from the post. Then Night Lad put ill another challenge, and Celerity 11. only beat him by a nose. Narrative was two leugths away, with Pink Noto next. Though Celerity 11. only just won it was i good performance. Night Lad showed a glimpse of his true form for tho first timo this season Dutch Money was n hot favourite for the Dunedin Guineas, Meprisant being the only other backed with any confidence. ' Stealth led Flair and Meprisant from tho harrier. Disorder being slow to move. Hair wa3 in front at the end of a furlong, and a little further on Dutch Money joined : Stealth in second place, with Gold Tinge • and Meprisant next. Disorder tlion made a move, and, half a milo from home, she joined Flair iiv tho lead. Meprisant bejng . Jnst.
