VALUELESS CHEQUES.
TERM OF IMPRISONMENT.

In the Magistrate's Court to-day Arthur Jeffrey Durrant, aged 40, was sentenced to four months' hard labour on each of six charges of issuing valueless cheques, the sentences to bo cumulative. The offences occurred at Nelson, Palmerston North, Napier and Hastings.
