MR. W. S. GLENN'S DECISION*
RETIREMENT FROM POLITICS.

JIARTON. Friday-
Addressing a representative meeting of Reform Party supporters last evening Mr* W. S. Glenn, formerly M.P. for Rangitikei, announced that he did not intend to contest the seat at the next general election. Mr. Glenn said he had arrived at the decision after mature consideration and while he regretted the necessity ior the step pressure of private business made it imperative that he should retire from the political arena. A motion expressing regret at his decision and recording appreciation of Mr. Glenn's services during the nine years hfl represented Rangitikei was carried.
