RAILWAY WORKSHOPS.
PROGRESS AT HILLSIDE.
TRANSFERS FROM ADDINGTON.

The reconstruction of the Hillside railway workshops is gradually nearing completion, .and. the last building. # 1» erected, the stores, is, now under construction. • Under.'the new . scheme of Workshops reorganisation, the Railways Department' has fixed on . Hillside as', the prinfcipal moulding work for. the South Island. Previously most of the moulding work was carried out at Addington, but now that the new moulding shop at Hiilsids has been completed the moulding will be transferred from Addipgton, arid will be broughtto Dunedin by special train ,to-morrow. The worb; of installing the plant will ba commenced as soon as possible after its arrival, and the workshops manager, Mr. C. Graham, expects to:have everything in running order in a very short time. Th<( brassmoulders and the ifonmoulders froni Addingipn have already arrived in. Dunedin, an]d there now remain only about 12 steelmoulders to com?, and these will leave: for Dunedin on Monday morning.'
