BLACK BEDROOMS.
Ono of Britain's lost-known architects has just designed a black bedroom for a ladv who is as active in politics as she is in 'letters, says a writer. Her original tastes aro familiar lo her friends, but tho black bedroom has been her most daring conception. Tho coiling is black with just a narrow rich yellow border. Tho walls aro black, mcrclv relieved by two brilliant colour prints* of flowers on each side. Tho floor is black, with a black and _ yellow carpot square. Her curtains provide tho colour of sunshine in tho windows. Tho speciallypainted furniture is in harmony with the scheme.
