SIR ABE BAILEY,
Sir Abo Bailey made an oxcellent joko at tho dinner tho Lord Mayor gave him and Lady Bailey at tho Mansion llouso on thoir return from South Africa, wo aro told by a Londoner. The Prince of Wales was in tho chair, and it was altogether n great occasion. His Royal Highness had paid a fine tribute to Lady Bailey's prowess In the air and her splendid feat in flying to South Africa and back. Sir Abo is not as prominent as his wife in this respect, hut is quite prepared to accept the inevitable. " Tho coming event has already cast its shadow," he said, " and I expect to glide into tho next world as tho dirigible husband !"
