MUNICIPAL BAND.
Some very charming music will be rendered I'V the Auckland Municipal Band at tho Zoological Park to-morrow afternoon. Rossini's bright selection "La Boutique Fantasquo''"will ho played together with the diversified " Cl.issica selection. Othor popular items will be (he overture " Morning, Noon and Night," the "Raliana" suite and bright marches and hymn tunes. There will be a cornet solo by Mr. J. Davies and a piccolo solo bv Mr. H. C. McLennan. The twelfth concert of tho season will bo given by tho Auckland Municipal Band in tho Town Ilall next Saturday evening, October 19. The programme, again selected by tho public, will include a " Tannhausor " march, the second movement of Schubert's Unfinished Symphony, the "Light Cavalry" overture, a waltzintermezzo, " Beethoven Echoes,'' and selections from "The Bohemian Girl" and "Maritana." Mr. J. Davies will give a cornet solo and Mr. E. Pheloung a clarinet solo. Vocal items will bo presented by Mrs. H. McLennan and Mr. Cyril Scott with Miss Thelma Gordon as accompanist.
