HAGEN FOR AUSTRALIA.

Australian and N.Z. Press Association. (Received September 22, 5.5 p.m.) NEW YORK. Sept. 21. The Chicago correspondent of tho Associated Press says Hagen often has arrived lato on tho tec for a match, but when ho appears on tho Australian links this winter it will bo just ono year later than he originally intended. Hagen stated in 1928 that ho was going to tho antipodes, but the plan was abandoned. He had intended to mako the trip three years ago.
Now the champion, who is touring America, announces that without fail he will go to Australia after ho has played in the professional championship in California.
Kirkwood, who has arranged for tho trip, will be Hagen's playing partner. Ho will sail for Hawaii in January, after appearing in a talkie film at Hollywood. Ho should arrive at Sydney on March 1.
