With coal from Port Kembla and timber from Newcastle tho Kairanga was to leavo Newcastle for Auckland at three o'clock yesterday afternoon, Sho is duo next Thursday. THE WAIPAHI. Tho Union Company's Island steamer Waipahi sailed for Rarotonga and other Cook Island ports yesterday afternoon. It is tho vessel's last trip to tho Cook Islands this year. Sho is duo back at Auckland about October 8. PRUNUS FROM SEYCHELLES. From Seychelles Islands, via Bluff, the steamer Prunus is expected at Auckland this evening. Tho Union Company's Island steamer Tofim reached Apia from Tonga at six o'clock on Thursday morning, and was to sail xor Suva and Auckland at five o'clock Inst evening. Papeete and Rarotonga tho Royal Mail liner Maunganui is scheduled to reach Wellington on Monday morning. Sho will resume her voyage to Sydney on Tuesday. OAKBANK REPORTS. The Weir Line motor-ship Oakbank has reported by. wireless that she will arrive from Tampico, Mexico, at daybreak on Monday. The vessel has a full cargo of asphaltum for discharge at Auckland. At eleven o clock on Tuesday morning she is to resumo her voyage to Suva, Honolulu and Vancouver. THE PORT VICTOR. Tho Commonwealth and Dominion Lino sleamer Port Victor sailed for Wellington. Lyttelton and Dunedin yesterday to completo discharging cargo from New York. Tho vessel is scheduled to return to Auckland on October 7 to load frozen meat for Genoa. Sho will afterwards complete loading in Australia. THE PAPANUI.

Tho Federal Lino Bteamer Papanui will arrive from Liverpool at four o'clock this morning, according to her wireless advice. She will berth at Qneen's Wharf to unload general merchandise from west coast ports of Great Britain to the agency of the New Zealand Shipping Company. From Auckland she will go to Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and New Plymouth to complete discharge.

THE CANADIAN CRUISER. With general merchandise from Montreal the Canadian National steamer Canadian Cruiser is scheduled to reach Auckland about tho middle of next week. The vessel is an addition to tho usual monthly steamers and will unload all her cargo for New Zealand at Auckland and Wellington. Afterwards she will go to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide to complete discharge. THE POOLTA. With a full cargo of hardwood timber and poles from Port Stephens, Grafton and Newcastle the Poolta arrived yesterday morning. Tho vessel is unloading a quantity of tho cargo at King's Wharf and is to Bail for Wellington. Lyttelton and Bluff at fivo o'clock this afternoon to completo discharge.
