MONEY FOR BUTTER-FAT.
KAKEPUKU DAIRY COMPANY. MANUFACTURE OF CHEESE. [by telegraph.—own correspondent.] TE AWAMTJTU, Friday. The Kakepuku Co-operative Dairy Company, which manufactures cheese at its factory six milos from To Awamutu, is this month paying out Is 6d per lb. for butter-fat supplied during August. This is the same as that advanced for the August supply last year. Tho total payout will be £561 16s 3d, as compared with £6os' 6s a year ago. Last month tho total supply was 7490.921b., as against 8070.681b. in August last year. CAMBRIDGE AND BBUKTWOOD. DISTRIBUTIONS FOR AUGUST. [BV TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] CAMBRIDGE. Friday. Tho Cambridge* Dairy Company to-day advanced £12,908 for tho August supply of butter-fat, against £12,940 for tho corresponding period last season, tho basis of payment being Is Sid ptfr lb for buttermaking, and Is 6}d for cheese. To date this season the company has paid out £21,070, against £21,075 for tho corresponding period last season. The ,JBruntwoo<l Cheeso Company paid out at the rate of Is 6d per lb butter-fat, the total pay-out being £IBB4 10s on 25,1261b. Last season's fignres for August were:—Pay-out, Is 7d; total, £l9Bl 10sj butter-fat, 25,0331b.
