THE SPOTLESS BATH.
Most housewives take great prido in ketyjing the bath immaculately white. Tho bath, except in very modern bathrooms. almost invariably is set in an awkward position along the wall, with the result that tho bath and the wall behind it aro most difficult to clean.
When cleaning a good bath great care should bo taken to preserve the beautiful high gloss of the enamel, once having taken tho shine away, tho last stato is worse than the first. Porcelain or well-enamelled iron baths will not be affected by tho use of bath salts. When made of soda, they will .ruin a painted tin bath, as they soften tho paint. Instead, throw in a few drops of eau de Cologne or ammonia, or two handfuls of oatmeal tied up in muslin, which will soften tho water equally well.
