INSURANCE AT HOME.
The annual At Homo of the staff of the New "Zealand Insurance Company was j held last evening in the Amateur Operatic Society's Hall, and was a most enjoyable occasion. Blue and gold streamers and shaded lights made effective decorations, and Mr. Hubert Hoffman's orchestra played the latest dance numbers. These were enthusiastically encored. Among those present were:—Mrs. A. Johns, who wore a frock of black georgette with inlets of fine silver lace; Miss G. Didabury, apple green georgette; Miss Potter, pale pink georgette banded in green; Mrs. Humphrey Duder, coffee lace over crepe satin; Mrs. Percy Coulthard, cedar rose chenille and gold tissue hem; Miss Jean Leyland, black ring velvet with pink corsage flower: Miss Joan Biss, leaf green georgette; Mrs. Vialonx, salmon nink and gold shot taffeta; Mrs. Harold Clay, black georgette beaded in silver; Mrs. Goudie, bois de rose souplo satin; Miss Roua Anderson, water green chenille and georgette, with uneven hem; Miss Dene Plammer, pastel green chiffon velvet; Miss Betty Buddie, white satin, appliqued with gold lice; Miss Joan Stokes, cyclamen taffeta and tulle; Miss Pagni, Indian red lace and georgette: _Mrs. A. Jones, silver lame and tulle; Miss Joyce Howes, black lace; Miss Rita Hill, powder blue taffeta and gold lace; Miss Nina Garrett, orange taffeta with green relief; Miss Nancy Murray, gold lame and tulle; Miss D. Chapman, rose pink georgette with diamante trimming; Miss Gribble, shell pink and gold chenille with taffeta frills; Miss Sedgwick, old gold taffeta with shoulder spray of daffodils. Miss A. Hynes wore cameo pink georgette ; Miss I. Annitage, gold lace and vieux rose taffeta; Miss Nairn, pink georgette over green satin; Miss Gladys Seymour, mimosa yellow crepe de chine, with pink shawl; Miss W. Viscoe, black ring velvet; Miss Mabel Buckley, turquoise beaded georgette; Miss Winsome Whitehead, Persian rose taffeta; Mrs. Pycroft, black laco and embroidered shawl; Miss Penman, leaf green taffeta; Miss Vipond, chartreuse green lace over georgette_; Miss Norah MacShane, eau de nil beaded georgette: Miss Sheila Nettleton, black and pink taffeta period frock.
