COMING-OF-AGE DANCE.

In honour of the coming-of-age- of their son, Jack, an enjoyable danco was given in the Moulin Rouge last evening by Mr. and Mrs. J. Martin Wilson, of Rcmuera. The entrance to the ballroom wns decorated with arum lilies which were twined round the bannisters, and in the dance hall itsolf Btreamers in varying pastel shades were suspended overhead forming a large canopy. Supper was served upstairs where tall vases of Iceland poppies adorned the long table. During tho evening songs by Mrs. J. J. Sullivan and violin solos by Mr. Hulmo were vory much enjoyed, and excellent dance music was supplied by George Huritor'a Revellers. To receive her guests Mrs. Wilson wore a frock of cameo pink georgette appliqued with silver lace, ana an Oriental wrap.
