DISPLAY AT TE AROHA,
HIGH STANDARD OF BLOOMS.

The St. Mark's Horticultural Spciety's annual daffodil show attracted a large attendance and the entries were a record. The standard of exhibits generally were higher than in previous years, and competition was very keen. The two daffodil championships were awarded to Mrs. F. W. Bliss, magni coronati, and Miss McGormick, nedia coronati. The latter also won the points prize. Mrs. Gow won the Challenge Cup.
CAMBRIDGE FIXTURE.
RECORD NUMBER OF ENTRIES.

The Cambridge Daffodil Society's 23rd annual show was opened yesterday and concluded to-day. It was one of the most successful fixtures held for many years. There were record entries from exhibitors from ~all parts of South Auckland, and also from Auckland. The most successful exhibitor was W. Danby, of Thames, who secured four championships and 15 first prizes.
