THE BLIND ON TRAMS.

Sir,—l hope someone will try to stir the hearts of the members of the Transport Board with a view to granting the concession of free rides on the city trams to those of us who are suffering the terrible affliction of loss of sight. Surely if free passes can bo granted to soldiers who Jost their sight at the war, it is not asking much to grant the same concession to the blind soldiers of industry. By so doing a great boon would bo conferred on many who have to tramp from door to door, and when in the suburbs at sundown find themselves miles from home and have to pay tram fares out of their meagre earnings. Blind Battles.
