AFGHANS IN REVOLT.
REBEL KING'S TROOPS.
ASSISTANCE TO TRIBESMEN. United Service. LONDON, Sept. 18. The Lahore correspondent of the Daily Mail says the members of the Duranti tribe, who at present are occupying Kandahar, have not met with resistance from the troops of the rebel King of Afghanistan, Bacha-i-Sakao. One company of his forces mutinied, hoisted the flag of the ex-King, Arnanulla, and allowed the tribesmen to seize a large quantity of arms and ammunition.
It is believed .that an appeal for vengeance made by the widow of Amanulla's brother-in-law whom Bacha had executed, stimulated the revolt. The women of Amanulla's family who ft;, present are imprisonod at Kabul have called upon the Mohmand tribe in the name of Allah to save them from further disgrace and torture at the hands of Bacha.
General Nadir Khan, formerly Afghan Minister at Paris, is leading the revolt. He has offered a reward of £187,000 to whoever first enters and occupies Kabul.
