ORPHANS' LADIES' NIGHT.
FUNCTION AT NORTHCOTE.
The annual "ladies' evening" under the auspices of tho Birkenhead and Northcoto Orphans' Club was held in the Palais Theatre, Northcoto, last evening, and was largely attended. The president, Dr. J. W. Craven, welcomed tho ladies and visitors. A most enioyable programme was presented, including selections by tho club's orchestra, under Mr. G. W. Bowes. A dance followed the concert programme.
