LONELY WIDOW'S DEATH

LONDON STATION TRAGEDY.

OBSESSIONS OF DECEASED

Australian and N.Z. Tress Association

(Received September 17, 5.5 p.m.)

LONDON, Sort, IC.

At the inquest concerning the death of Mrs. Alice Brebner, widow of Dr. Arthur Brebner, formerly of Melbourne, who was found hanging in a waitingroom at Paddington station, the evidence showed that she was obsessed with the idea that somebody had stolen papers that had belonged to her husband, and also that somebody ought to publish her husband's writings, although she had never tried to do so.

Her brother-in-law had urged her to return to Australia, but she said she preferred to live alone in London.
